Friday, March 11, Junkyard Jane. Details: The band rose by night in the tide flats of Tacoma from a deadly mephitic brew of blues, swamp gas, rockabilly, old engine parts, country, motor oil, folk, funk and used kitty litter.   Like all true originals, they display a Creole blend of influences that they affectionately call “Swampabilly Roots Music”. Friday, March 18, John Nemeth. Details: John Németh is a rising blues star; a singer steeped in the tradition and reminiscent of B.B. King, Ray Charles and Junior Parker, and a harmonica player of riveting intensity and virtuosity. His decade long career has found him opening for Robert Cray, Keb Mo', and Earl Thomas.
